A six-week class to take your creativity to the next level
Beginner to intermediate artists
Six three hour sessions for $200
The objective of this course is to help the beginner or ‘hobby’ artist to push their current skills and creativity forward. The course will include working with charcoal, colored pencil, and acrylics. It will include the basics of composition, proportion, terminology, various application techniques, value and color. Theresa will also provide instruction for creating a good preliminary sketch used when creating paintings, even if one is not yet proficient at drawing free hand.
Students will participate in hands on exercises in class with individual attention and practice assignments they can do at home. During the final class students will complete an acrylic landscape.
